Origami

Throughout September we’ve been learning origami together with the 3rd grade students. Making origami is an opportunity for the students to engage with traditional Japanese artform as well as develop their motor skills and spatial intelligence. So far we’ve experienced success, as well as some failures. Today we chose some simpler projects to make – a star and a butterfly. Hopefully soon we will be able to move to much harder designs such as a kangaroo or nun, that we have yet to best.😊
