"Cracow International School" Non-Public Bilingual High School is a school which follows:

  • An international curriculum of Cambridge International AS & A Levels
  • Polish National Curriculum issued by National Ministry of Education (read more in: Curriculum section).

The learning cycle at ‘Cracow International School’ Non-Public Bilingual High School is:

  • 3 years – for students who completed middle schools,
  • 4 years – for students who completed an 8 years long primary school,
  • 3 or 4 years – for international students, decided upon individually on the basis of previous education.

Our students learn within a bilingual system, in an international environment. They attend obligatory and extracurricular classes, and take part in courses, training and workshops which prepare them for their future university education. Moreover, Cracow International School Non-Public Bilingual High School provides students with space for fulfilling their passions and developing their interests. This is done by allowing them to participate in classes extending their knowledge within a chosen scope, and in subject clubs.

Curriculum

At ‘Cracow International School’ Non-Public Bilingual High School, first year students follow a blended curriculum in terms of the leading subjects.  This means Cambridge programme (AS level – basic) and Polish National Curriculum are merged. Such a solution allows students to prepare fully for Polish maturity exam as well as for Cambridge A-levels exams.

Polish Maturity Exam

A study cycle at ‘Cracow International School’ Non-Public Bilingual High School is:

Students of Cracow International School high school can choose the type of final exam they want to take. They may choose to take only Polish final exams, to take only Cambridge final exams, to take both types of exams, or to follow full AICE Diploma programme. Teaching methods

 ‘Cracow International School’ Non-Public Bilingual High School follows the curriculum with special emphasis on learning by experience. The following factors facilitate the completion of Cambridge curriculum and Polish National Curriculum:

  • participation in scientific experiments at school and at different universities,

Enrolment

‘Cracow International School’ Non-Public Bilingual High School has already opened enrolment for 2019/2020 school year for a 3 years cycle and a 4 years cycle.

Enrolment is open for the whole school year, as long as places are available.

Documents needed upon enrolment to our bilingual high school:

  • a photocopy of the student’s birth certificate,
  • a photocopy of a document confirming the student’s PESEL number (e.g. a copy of passport), or, in case of students without a PESEL number, another ID document
  • students of Polish schools: a school certificate confirming the completion of Grade 7 of primary school or grade 2 of middle school,
  • students from schools abroad or from Polish schools which do not follow Polish National Curriculum: the document can be a certificate, a report with information about grades and skills from the preceding school year. Individual procedures are implemented while deciding which grade a student from abroad should be enrolled to.

Fees

In 2019/2020 the following fees apply at ‘Cracow International School’ Non-Public Bilingual High School:

  • tuition fee: PLN 1500 per month, paid for 12 months
  • entry fee of PLN 1000 per each year of education. The first payment to be made on the day of signing the contract. The remaining payments to be made by the beginning of each school year.  

The tuition fee at Cracow International School Bilingual High School includes:

  • education for the whole school year, along with the school year beginning and ending dates announced by the National Ministry of Education
  • educational classes within Cambridge programme
  • project classes within Cambridge Global Perspectives

Additional fees apply for the following:

  • extracurricular classes
  • trips, workshops, outings
  • school books
