Admissions to the Non-Public Primary School Cracow International School are open throughout the academic year, subject to the availability of places.
We encourage families to contact our Admissions Office as early as possible. Our team will be happy to provide information about current availability, upcoming Open Days and the admissions process. Early contact allows us to plan the admissions process efficiently and increases the likelihood of securing a place.
Admissions Process
1. Contact the Admissions Office
The admissions process begins by contacting our Admissions Office by phone, email or through the enquiry form available on our website.
At this stage, we will ask for some basic information about your child, including their date of birth, preferred start date, current education system and the year group they currently attend.
To confirm availability in the appropriate year group, we also ask families to provide school reports or transcripts from the previous academic year. These documents allow us to review the student’s educational background and determine whether a place is available in the appropriate class.
2. School Visit
Once availability has been confirmed, families may arrange an individual visit to the school.
This provides an opportunity to explore our campus, see the learning environment and meet members of our team.
3. Admissions Documents
The next step is to submit the documents confirming the student’s educational history.
For applications submitted during the academic year, reports from the most recent semester are also required.
4. Admissions Requirements
There are no English language requirements for admission to Years 2–4.
For applicants to Years 5–6, the Admissions Office may recommend an English language assessment depending on the student’s previous educational background. Families are informed whether an assessment is required after the student’s school reports have been reviewed.
Where appropriate, the school may also arrange an assessment of subject knowledge.
For applicants to Year 2, a paid meeting with the pedagogue is a compulsory part of the admissions process. The meeting provides an opportunity to get to know each child before the start of the school year and helps the school prepare to support their development from the very first day of school.
5. Admissions Decision
Once the admissions process has been successfully completed and an offer of admission has been made, parents or legal guardians receive the forms required to prepare the Education Agreement.
6. Signing the Agreement
Once all required documents have been submitted, the Admissions Office prepares the Education Agreement for signature.
All formalities relating to the conclusion of the agreement are completed online.
