Celebrating Diversity at CIS International Day

We are delighted to share the highlights of our recent CIS International Day—an inspiring celebration of culture, unity, and global learning, brilliantly organised by our Student Council.

In a school as internationally diverse as CIS, events like this play a key role in building community and promoting mutual understanding. This year, students and staff proudly represented over 10 different countries, creating a colourful mosaic of cultures, customs, and personal stories.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in a variety of meaningful and enjoyable activities.
Among the highlights were:

• A global culinary journey, featuring delicious dishes from all corners of the world

• Interactive presentations by our teachers, offering unique insights into their home countries

• A lively cultural quiz, designed to challenge stereotypes and highlight surprising facts in an engaging way

Moreover, the atmosphere was enriched by traditional attire, student-made posters brimming with facts and visuals, and countless opportunities for intercultural exchange.

Above all, what made the day truly memorable was the sense of connection. Students and teachers came together not just to showcase their heritage, but also to celebrate what unites us in our diversity.
