Growing Together: CIS at the 3rd Annual Conference of the Forum of International Schools in Poland

The strongest international school communities are built through collaboration. When educators come together to share ideas, challenges, and solutions, everyone has the opportunity to learn and grow.

At the beginning of this year, the management team of Cracow International School had the opportunity to attend the 3rd Annual Conference of the Forum of International Schools in Poland, held under the theme International Education in Practice: Challenges and Solutions.

The conference brought together representatives of international schools and education organisations for a day of meaningful discussions, knowledge sharing, and professional collaboration. It provided a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and explore some of the key challenges shaping international education today.

Exploring the future of international education

The programme addressed a range of topics relevant to international schools and their communities. Discussions and presentations focused on areas including global British-curriculum qualifications, international education trends, artificial intelligence and digital compliance, and opportunities for studying in English at Polish universities.

A particularly important part of the conference was the discussion around AI in schools. As technology continues to influence education, school leaders are facing new questions about responsible AI use, data privacy, school policies, personalised learning, and how technology can support educational effectiveness.

Another discussion focused on building schools where staff want to stay, highlighting the importance of effective leadership, staff wellbeing, and creating supportive professional environments.

Learning through collaboration

For Cracow International School, participating in events such as this is an important part of our commitment to continuous development.

International education is constantly evolving. By connecting with other schools, sharing good practices, and learning from different perspectives, educators can reflect on their own approaches and discover new ways to support students and staff.

We believe that professional development does not happen in isolation. It grows through conversation, collaboration, and a willingness to learn from one another.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of a community that brings international schools together and creates space for meaningful exchange.

The 3rd Annual Conference of the Forum of International Schools in Poland was a valuable reminder that when international schools share their knowledge and experience, the entire education community becomes stronger.
